Availability

Click to Pay with Visa is accessible to you as a merchant if you utilize the zahls.ch payment gateway, meaning you've integrated zahls.ch via its API or Plugins.
The Click to Pay with Visa payment option is exclusively offered in Payrexx Pay, making it available solely to merchants operating within 🇨🇭 Switzerland.

Setting up Click to Pay with Visa

Requirements

Please ensure that the following requirements are met in your zahls.ch account so that you can offer Click to Pay with Visa to customers in your store:

Your zahls.ch account must be verified.
The payment provider Payrexx Pay must be activated.
The Visa payment method must be activated within Payrexx Pay.
When creating the gateway, the end customer's email address must be transmitted.

Activation

Proceed as follows to activate Click to Pay with Visa:

Navigate to Payment Providers in the dashboard of your zahls.ch account.
Click "Configure" next to Payrexx Pay.
Scroll down to "Available payment methods".
Enable the toggle (C2P) for Visa.

Customer Payment Process

If a customer chooses to pay with Visa in your store, the system will automatically check whether they have already activated Click to Pay with Visa.

Click to Pay with Visa is already activated

If Click to Pay with Visa is activated for the customer, they will be automatically redirected to the checkout page. To complete their payment, they simply need to enter a confirmation code, which they will receive via text message.

Click to Pay with Visa is not yet activated

If Click to Pay with Visa is not yet activated, customers can opt to save their credit card details for future purchases. After entering their details once, they can activate this feature by selecting the corresponding checkbox and providing any additional information required, such as their telephone number or address.

The customer then confirms the payment and enters their card details in Click to Pay with Visa.
