Setup
To receive payments via American Express, you simply need to activate the payment method in your zahls.ch account. Follow these steps:

Navigate to Payment Providers in the main menu of your dashboard.

Click on "Configure" next to Payrexx Pay Plus.

Scroll down a bit and check the box next to "American Express".

Complete the configuration by clicking "Save" at the bottom right of the page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do we need the customer's e-mail address?
As a regulated payment service provider, zahls.ch is required to collect certain minimum information to identify the paying customer in order to comply with the requirements of the card schemes and acquiring banks.
In addition, the customer’s e-mail address is required for operational and regulatory reasons, including but not limited to:
- Sending payment notifications
- Fraud prevention and risk checks
- 3-D Secure authentication processes
- Handling of chargebacks
- Contacting the customer in case of payment issues
