Apple Pay allows customers to make contactless payments using a wide range of Apple devices.

Restrictions

Apple Pay works on iPhones with iOS 8.1 or later, on Apple Watches with watchOS 1.0 or later, and on Macs with OS X 10.11 El Capitan or later. Apple Pay is compatible with Safari browsers version 10 or higher. Additionally, Apple Pay with QR code functionality works on all desktop versions, regardless of operating system and browser.

Apple Pay is available for cardholders whose banks are located in supported countries. You can find out which banks and countries are supported on Apple's website.

Country Availability

Apple Pay is available within Payrexx Pay and Payrexx Pay Plus. The payment method is therefore available to merchants based in 🇨🇭 Switzerland, 🇱🇮 Liechtenstein, 🇦🇹 Austria, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇫🇷 France, 🇱🇺 Luxembourg, 🇩🇰 Denmark, and 🇧🇬 Bulgaria:

Setup

Configuration of zahls.ch

Follow these steps to activate Apple Pay in zahls.ch:

  1. Navigate to the Payment providers section in the main menu of your zahls.ch account.

  2. Click "Configure" next to Payrexx Pay or Payrexx Pay Plus.

  3. Scroll down and check the box next to "Apple Pay".

  4. Complete the setup by clicking "Save" at the bottom right of the page.
