Restrictions on the Use of Klarna
Please note that the use of Klarna is not possible in the following categories:
- Non-profit organizations
- Political organizations, parties, or initiatives
- B2B (Business-to-Business)
Setup
Please follow the instructions below to integrate Klarna as an external payment provider in zahls.ch.
Prerequisites
- An active Klarna merchant account
- API credentials (Username and Password) from the Klarna portal
Configuration of Klarna
- Create or open your Klarna account.
- Go to the API settings and copy the Username and Password for live and/or test mode.
Configuration of zahls.ch
- In the main menu, navigate to Payment Providers.
- Under "Alternative payment methods", click "Show".
- Click "Setup" next to Klarna.
- Choose whether to use Klarna in live or test mode.
- Enable the desired currencies.
- Enter the API credentials from the Klarna portal into the corresponding fields.
- Save the configuration.
Payouts
As Klarna is an external payment provider, payouts are not handled by zahls.ch. Transactions received via Klarna are paid out directly by Klarna.
