Setup

Please follow the instructions below to integrate giropay as an external payment provider in zahls.ch.

Configuration of GiroSolution

Log into your GiroCockpit account.
Create a new project there, selecting the "Test" option in the "Modus" field:
After creating the project, you will find the access credentials under "Projektprofil," which you will need in a later step when setting up in zahls.ch.

Configuration of zahls.ch

In the main menu of your zahls.ch account, navigate to Payment providers.
Click on "Show" under "Alternative payment methods."
Click on "Setup" next to giropay:

A new window will open where you need to make the following settings:

Copy the Verkäufer-ID from your giropay project into this field.
Copy the Projekt-ID from your giropay project into this field.
Copy the Projekt-Passwort from your giropay project into this field.
Click on "Edit Fees" and enter the fees as specified in your contract with giropay.

Switch from Test Mode to Live Mode

The giropay payment provider is initially in test mode, allowing you to check if everything is working correctly. At the same time, GiroSolution will verify that all contract documents are in place.

Once GiroSolution has successfully completed this verification, you will be notified via email.

Then, in your GiroCockpit, change the project status from test to live so that your customers can pay with giropay.
