Setup

Follow the instructions below to integrate zahls.ch into Shopware 6. For Shopware 5, a plugin remains available via GitHub.

Plugin installation

Download the latest plugin: ZahlsPaymentGatewaySW6.zip (release on GitHub).

Configuration of zahls.ch

  • Navigate to the API & Plugins section in the dashboard of your zahls.ch account.

  • Click on "Show All" below "Add E-Commerce Integration".

  • Click on "Add" next to Shopware 6.

  • In the window below, apply the following settings.

  1. API Key: Copy the displayed API key to your clipboard, as you will need it later.
  2. Instance Name: Copy the displayed instance name to your clipboard, as you will also need it later.
  3. Enter shop address: In this field, enter the URL of your shop. If your shop is not located in the root directory (e.g., https://my-shop.com) but in a subdirectory, please enter the full path to your shop. Example: https://my-shop.com/shop
  1. Webhooks: Define whether a failed webhook should be retried. If the checkbox is activated, the system will attempt to resend the webhook up to 10 times. The retry intervals are as follows: 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, and then every 24 hours.
  2. Finalize: Click the green "Activate" button to complete the configuration.

Configuration of Shopware 6

Connect to zahls.ch

  • In Shopware, navigate to Settings.
  • Under "Extensions", click on "zahls.ch Payments".

The connection with zahls.ch can be established either automatically or manually.

Establish connection automatically

  1. Make sure that the option "All Sales Channels" is selected.
  1. Make sure the correct platform is selected.
  2. Click the blue "Connect with zahls.ch.com button".

  • Log in to your zahls.ch account using your credentials.

  • Select the zahls.ch account you want to connect with Shopware 6:

Establish connection manually

Configure the following settings:

  1. Ensure that the option All Sales Channels is selected.
  1. Make sure the correct platform is selected.
  2. Enter the instance name of your zahls.ch account. The instance name corresponds to the first part of your zahls.ch URL. For example, if the URL is example.zahls.ch, the instance name is example.
  3. Enter the API key that was displayed during the configuration of zahls.ch.
  • Click the "Save" button at the top of the window:

Select payment methods

To specify which payment methods you want to offer your shop customers, follow these steps:

  • In the main menu of Shopware 6, under "Sales Channels", click on zahls.ch.

  • In the "General" tab, scroll down to the "Payment and shipping" section.

  • Click in the empty area below "Payment methods" and select any number of payment methods from the list.

  • Click "Save" at the top of the screen to complete the payment method configuration.

Plugin Update

To update the Shopware 6 plugin to the latest version, please follow these steps:

  • Download the ZIP file of the latest plugin version.

  • Log in to the administration area of your Shopware 6 account.

  • Navigate to Extensions > My Extensions in the main menu.

  • Deactivate the current zahls.ch integration.

  • Click on "Upload extension" and upload the ZIP file of the latest plugin version.

  • Activate the plugin after the update.
