Subscriptions

To allow customers to purchase subscriptions at checkout, install and activate the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin. Then enable recurring payments in the zahls.ch plugin settings.

Subscriptions distinguish between automatic and manual renewals:

Automatic renewal

The stored payment method is charged automatically when a new subscription payment is due. Automatic renewals are only supported by certain payment methods.

Manual renewal

The customer receives an email with a payment link when a subscription payment is due. Manual renewals are supported by all payment methods available in Payrexx Pay and Payrexx Pay Plus.

Customer modifications

zahls.ch does not modify customer data in WooCommerce. If a customer is deleted or their subscription has disappeared, this may have been caused by the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin or manually by a WordPress user.

Refunds

To refund the full or partial amount of a transaction, follow this guide:

Refunds and Partial Refunds

After you complete the refund in zahls.ch, it is automatically communicated to WooCommerce and shown in the order.

Order and Payment from the Customer’s Perspective

The following process outlines how a customer places an order and pays in a WooCommerce store with zahls.ch:

  • After reviewing the cart, the customer proceeds to checkout.
  • The customer selects the zahls.ch payment method (e.g. “Credit Cards / TWINT”).
